Wholemeal waffles

Posted by

Nothing fancy but big on taste, these healthy wholemeal waffles just blew my mind. I was worried about the texture as the wholemeal flour is a little coarse, but it was well-received by adults and the kid in the house.

I prefer buying whole-grain products but always avoided the wholemeal stuff just because of the texture.
To my surprise, the waffles looked and tasted so good. The batter seems different, but the result is sweet. It kept us full for a long time. I am happy Jenan Arabia sent me this product to try out as a part of their healthy eating and cooking campaign. Else I would have always steered away.
I hope you enjoy waffles made out of wholemeal flour.
