The name “Matcha (latte) affogato” sounds so exotic right? But it’s pretty simple and easy to make. Just some good quality matcha and some ice cream yield a beautiful dessert. Matcha (latte) affogato is a refreshingly light dessert, and we loved it. 

Mango coconut layered panna cotta

Mango season is upon us, and I could not resist making this dessert. It was a request from my son, who is a Mango lover too. He calls it Mango jelly; I call it layered mango and coconut panna cotta. Coconut and mango flavors work well together.

Sweet Potato Malpuas with rabri

Sweet potatoes were my first choice when I wanted to make some healthy Malpuas. Malpuas are pancakes made with semolina, all-purpose flour, milk, and sugar. It is flavored with cardamom and fennel seeds. It is a traditional dessert, prepared during an Indian festival called Holi “Festival of colours”.
