Grapefruit honey lemonade

Posted by

Summertime calls for loads of refreshing glasses of lemonade. Especially during the summer vacation after a short trip to the pool, requests for lemonade are difficult to ignore. Grapefruit honey lemonade is one of my favorite ways of enjoying lemonade. I keep it simple but add a little fizz with some sparkling water.

The grapefruit adds to the flavor and makes it delicious. I grew up on pomelo; a relatively large variety of citrus and ruby red grapefruit reminds me of it. I add fresh grapefruit slices to salads and their juice to my dressings. The best part is that grapefruit slices look gorgeous as a garnish, and the color turns out beautiful.

I love mixing two to three different citrus fruits to keep it exciting and delicious.

How do you like your glass of lemonade? Do share your favorite way of enjoying it.
