These are easy and must-haves at a party. I am talking about dips.
You need a bowl or two of dips to keep the conversations running, so you have enough time to take care of the last-minute cooking just before you serve. I love to serve several finger food and chips with some creamy dips before moving to the mains.
Here are my top four favorite dips popular in this part of the world that will help you plan your gatherings.
Whipped feta: I honestly don’t know why I never tried this before. You will need three ingredients and seasonings to prepare this dip.

Ingredients
- Feta cheese 200 gms
- Greek yogurt 150 gms
- Garlic 2 large pods
- Pepper ½ tsp
- Olive oil 2 tbsp
Method
Place everything in a blender and pulse till you get a smooth, creamy texture. Top with toasted pine nuts and herbs.

Click on the links below to find different kinds of hummus recipes. Serve with pita chips, falafel, or kebabs.

Muhammara: It’s a roasted red bell pepper dip with walnuts. Serve with pita chips or crackers.
Za’atar roasted cherry tomatoes with garlic labneh: It is creamy, delicious, and works perfectly with pita chips and kebabs.

Toss the cherry tomatoes in some olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Lay them on a pan and add fresh zaatar. Roast till the skin of the tomatoes wither. Whip labneh is a mixing bowl with grated garlic, salt and pepper. Top it with roasted cherry tomatoes.
These all look delicious. I’ve never thought of whipping feta either!
